A leading refining company in Port Dickson is looking for a Warehouse Coordinator to manage the receipt and delivery of bulk materials and chemicals. The role includes coordinating with production and inventory analysts, maintaining accurate stock records, and ensuring safety compliance during loading and unloading. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in warehousing and knowledge of SAP systems. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on operational efficiency.
To receive bulk materials and chemicals and ensure they are delivered to business users in a timely manner to avoid plant outages.
To check and confirm that all documents accompanying delivered goods/materials are complete and accurate.
To ensure that bulk material and chemical deliveries undergo weighing activities performed by the driver.
To coordinate closely with the duty Production Specialist prior to the discharge of bulk materials and chemicals at the plant.
To coordinate closely with the Inventory Analyst on minimum and maximum levels for MRP replenishment and automatic MRP PR generation.
To coordinate with buyers on Inventory PO issuance to suppliers and invoicing matters.
To ensure reservations are raised by Operations through work orders on a daily or weekly basis.
To ensure the issuance of bulk materials and chemicals is in accordance with the printed pick list, stock balances are accurate in SAP, and receipt is acknowledged by Operations.
To raise a Criticism of Material (COM) via Office Automation (OA) for any discrepancies in bulk materials and chemicals received, and to report them to buyers.
To coordinate with Operations on the scheduled delivery of bulk materials and chemicals.
To prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports for bulk materials and chemicals.
To review monthly stock balances for bulk materials and chemicals provided by vendors and update GR status to the Finance Department.
To monitor inventory stock movement at operational chemical storage areas and the warehouse.
To maintain daily communication with Operations and reconcile issued pick lists with summary records.
To ensure safe loading and unloading of bulk materials and chemicals within the plant facility.
To participate in internal and annual stock counts.
To maintain the integrity of filing and records for receiving documents (DO, SDS, COC, etc.).
To maintain a high level of HSSE in the management and operation of the warehouse.
To ensure timely execution of Goods Receipt (GR) in the SAP system within two days of processing.
To understand the general processes of Plant PU1 and PU2.
To maintain and improve internal customer service levels.
To perform any additional duties or activities assigned by the Warehouse Team Lead.
Job Requirements
At least 3 years of experience in warehousing or a related field.
Basic knowledge of SAP systems and office software.
