Job summary

A leading logistics and technology firm in Kedah is seeking a Warehouse Operations Specialist to ensure high inventory accuracy and conduct audits of warehouse activities. The ideal candidate should have a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 1-2 years of experience in warehouse operations. Responsibilities include monitoring inventory movements and reconciling variances. Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle is preferred but not mandatory. This position offers a dynamic work environment in the manufacturing sector.

Qualifications

• 1 or 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic knowledge of inventory control and warehouse procedures.
• Willingness to learn ERP systems if not familiar.

Job description

Ensure high inventory accuracy in ERP through routine checks and warehouse process compliance.

Conduct audits on warehouse activities (receiving, put-away, picking, issuance).

Monitor and control exceptional inventory movements (returns, damage, quarantine, obsolete stock).

Plan and execute cycle counts and scheduled full stock takes per policy.

Reconcile inventory variances and prepare variance/adjustment reports for management.

Process stock adjustments in ERP upon management approval.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or related field.
• 1 or 2 years of experience in warehouse operations (manufacturing environment preferred).
• Basic knowledge of inventory control and warehouse procedures.
• Familiar with ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / similar) or willing to learn.
• Detail-oriented with good documentation and data accuracy skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
