A leading houseware supplier in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee operational duties in their warehouse located in Subang Jaya. The ideal candidate should possess a Professional Certificate or Diploma in Logistics and have at least 5 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include managing inventory, ensuring the safety of staff and products, and motivating the workforce to meet productivity targets. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required. Determine work procedure, organizing, planning and delegation of all warehousing operational duties & activities.
Responsible for an inventory management, inventory movement, data entry, reconciliation variance, stock counting, new and old stock, stock control, manpower, delivery scheduling, and other related pertaining to inventory.
Perform all assigned warehouse task accurately which include timely processing of goods loading, un-loading, receiving, issuing, labelling, sorting, picking & repacking. Overseeing the receipt and storage of incoming items.
To provide the setup and layout of space management.
Tracking stock levels and maintain computerized administration, automated storage and retrieval systems.
Always research to improve all warehouse operations according to company’s objectives.
Follow up & control daily absence and over time.
Motivating, organizing and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met.
To perform any other work as instructed by management from time to time.
To keep checks on warehouse – staff attendance, performances, punctuality and over time.
Develop and provide guidance and training for new recruits.
Ensure safety and health in the warehouse as per standard compliance.
Maintain strict control and safety of stock stored at warehouse.
Ensure that the maintenance of the housekeeping of the warehouse is carried out regularly.
Maintain cost effective of energy consumption at warehouse.
Delivery and fulfilling objectives and direction from the Management.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced /Higher/Graduate Diploma, Logistic/Transportation or equivalent.
Required skill(s): Supervisory capacity, Time management, Data Entry Management, Safety Management.
Required language(s): English and Bahasa Malaysia.
At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, & Excel.
