Job Description

We would like to seek a detail‑oriented candidate, with strong analytical and python programming skills to join the Wholesale Banking (WB) Portfolio Management, Data Analytic unit.

The Data Analytics (DA) role is responsible for providing Management Information System (MIS) reports to support the following areas:

  • Anti money Laundering and Anti Financial Crime and Review

Prioritize and provide timely support on AML/Risk Assurance related data requests.

Provide enterprise AML data initiative support and adopt best practice from Group, for example Support data requests related to AML 2.0 uplift to support project risk evaluation and AML dashboard enhancement.

Development of statistics to support Online Fraud Monitoring.

Data Monetization
  • Partner with stakeholders and business to deliver data monetization with proper tracking, for example:
    • GM(FX) Sales Trigger : Performance tracking
    • FSCM & Connectivity Upsell X‑Sell
    • Explore potential data monetization areas (when triggered) – Trade Corridor
    • CASA incremental balance growth

Job Requirement
  • Background in quantitative or technical field (Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Software Engineering).
  • Candidate should have about 3 to 5 years’ experience in Modeling, Predictive modeling or been involved in Python related projects.
  • Excellent SQL skills and Fluency in Python, R, SPSS, SAS, and Excel would be required. Substantial statistics and machine learning knowledge (multivariate analysis, regression, time series, SVM, etc.).
  • Preferably be able to wrangle large datasets, explore and utilize raw data feeds.
  • Familiarity in at least one visualization tool such as PowerBI and Qliksense.
  • Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance.
  • Demonstrated aptitude toward Data Storytelling and Root Cause Analysis using data Analytics.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, willing to learn, must be able to work in team or independently, produce result in accordance to timeline.
