We are a growing ecommerce pet brand specialising in premium pet-hygiene products, known for high-performing direct-response video ads. We operate in Australia and the USA. We are expanding our creative team and are seeking a skilled senior video editor with deep experience in performance-driven social ads.
You will be creating direct-response video ads for Meta, TikTok and YouTube. This is a performance-focused role requiring strong understanding of hooks, pacing, storytelling, and conversion-oriented creative. You will work with our founder and creative strategist to produce ads that scale profitably.
Edit high-converting video ads for Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and other digital platforms.
Craft strong hooks, fast-paced cuts, and storylines that maximise thumb-stop, watch-time, and ROAS.
Repurpose raw footage, UGC, testimonials, product demos, and lifestyle clips into multiple ad variations.
Create motion graphics, captions, screen-recordings, transitions, and other performance-oriented elements.
Work with the latest AI tools (Gemini, Sora, etc) to create scenes and b-roll footage.
Collaborate closely with creative strategy team to interpret briefs and campaign insights.
Organise and manage media libraries and project files.
Stay up-to-date with social platform trends, meme edits, styles, and algorithm shifts.
3–5+ years of professional experience editing ads for DTC brands, agencies, or performance marketing teams.
Proven portfolio of high-performing social ads (Meta/TikTok/YouTube).
Expert in Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects a strong advantage).
Strong understanding of how creatives impact performance metrics (view-through rate, ROAS, etc).
Experience working with UGC creators or influencer footage.
Excellent command of English (written and verbal).
Reliable internet connection and ability to work full-time in a remote environment.
Experience editing content for pet-care or emotional storytelling brands.
Understanding of direct-response fundamentals (problem–solution, pain points, product demos).
Skills in colour grading, sound design, and audio clean-up.
