What you'll be doing

• Assisting veterinarians during examinations, procedures, and treatments
• Performing basic medical tasks such as taking vital signs, administering medications, and collecting samples
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, including sterilizing equipment and restocking supplies
• Providing compassionate care and comfort to patients, as well as offering support and information to their owners
• Handling and restraining animals during procedures, ensuring the safety of both the patient and the veterinary team
• Maintaining accurate medical records and client communication
• Participating in team meetings and training sessions to continuously improve your skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

• A genuine passion for animal welfare and a commitment to providing excellent patient care
• Previous experience as a veterinary assistant or in a similar animal healthcare role, preferably in a small animal practice
