Job description

To assist with on-site vehicle deregistration using JPJ’s online system, perform chassis and engine number inspection, marking, and support dismantling and logistics operations at Car Medic’s licensed vehicle disposal facility.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Visit customer locations to perform vehicle inspection and de‑registration using a laptop.
  • Verify chassis and engine numbers and update records accurately.
  • Communicate politely and professionally with vehicle owners.
  • Follow assigned appointment schedules and routes.
  • Use engraving tools to mark chassis numbers in compliance with standard guidelines.
  • Ensure all markings are accurate, neat, and permanent.
  • Assist in safe dismantling of vehicle parts and components.
  • Conduct verification and quality inspection of vehicle components.
  • Operate or assist in driving company vehicles for errands, deliveries, or logistic support.
  • Submit job reports and ensure all documentation is completed accurately and on time.
Working Conditions

Location: Penang. Willingness to travel and relocate is an added advantage.

Candidates must possess a valid B2 and D class driving license.

This role involves both outdoor and workshop‑based tasks, requiring physical activity such as lifting, handling tools, and working in varying weather conditions (e.g., heat and rain).

Candidates must be prepared to work extended hours or provide travel support as needed.

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday and Saturday: 8:45 AM – 5:30 PM

Friday: 8:45 AM – 6:00 PM
