UI/UX Designer

This position offers you the opportunity to collaborate with Singapore’s public agencies as part of their digital transformation, shaping intuitive and impactful user experiences. You will be working within an agency as part of its design and product team, collaborating closely with Product Managers, Frontend Developers, and QA Testers. Together, you will design and deliver user‑centric digital solutions that align with Singapore’s vision of a Smart Nation—ensuring clarity, usability, and visual excellence across platforms.

Experience & Skills Required

Experience: 4–7 years

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end‑to‑end visual design efforts from concept to final delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including product managers, UX designers, developers, and QA teams.
  • Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to guide informed design decisions.
  • Create user flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
  • Ensure design consistency across products using pattern libraries and design systems.
  • Champion user‑centered design principles and promote iterative design processes.
  • Present and explain design concepts clearly to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior designers and foster design knowledge sharing within the team.
Key Requirements
  • Strong UX/UI or visual design experience, ideally within large‑scale or government systems.
  • A portfolio showcasing your design process from research to implementation.
  • Proficiency in wireframing and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, etc.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Deep understanding of user research methodologies and usability testing.
  • Comfortable working within Agile development environments.
Bonus Skills
  • Experience designing for geospatial platforms, data dashboards, or government portals.
