We are currently seeking an Indirect Procurement Buyer to join our team based in Kuala Lumpur.

About the mission we offer you

The Indirect Procurement Buyer is responsible for sourcing, negotiating and managing suppliers for non-production goods and services including categories such as IT, Building & Facilities, HR services, professional services, transportation & logistics and corporate expenses. This role ensures that the company receives high-quality goods and services at competitive prices, in compliance with company procedures and policies, while maintaining supplier relationships and supporting internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Supplier Management
  • Identify, qualify and onboard suppliers that meet the company standards for quality, cost, compliance and performance.
  • Raise and issue NDAs when necessary.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements.
  • Monitor and record supplier performance by conducting supplier performance evaluations at the end of the contract or service agreement and resolve issues related to delivery, quality or compliance.
Procurement Operation
  • Execute RFPs/RFQs and manage end-to-end competitive bidding process such as issuing Bidders List, Bid Opening Form, Commercial Bid Tabulation and Purchase Order or Service Agreements.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, ethical standards, and risk requirements.
  • Collaborate with legal to review, draft and finalize contractual documents.
  • Track and report cost savings, value improvements and contract progress.
Cross Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with business units to understand requirements, budgets and specifications.
  • Provide procurement recommendations and market insights to stakeholders.
  • Drive process improvements and support procurement digitalization initiatives.

About you

Education & Experience

  • Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or related fields (preferred).
  • 2-5+ years experience in Indirect Procurement or strategic sourcing. Oil&Gas & Energies industry is a plus.
  • Experience with ERP/ procurement systems( Oracle, SAP, Ariba,etc.) is a plus.
