Responsibilities

The Trainee Outlet Manager is an entry-level leadership role designed to develop future managers for Lucky Cup Coffee Café. This position supports the Outlet Manager and Assistant Outlet Manager in daily operations while undergoing structured training in people management, café operations, customer service, and inventory control. The trainee will progressively take on supervisory responsibilities as part of the career development pathway.

1. Operational Support

Assist in daily café operations including opening, closing, and shift transitions.

Support workflow across service, barista station, and cashiering duties.

Ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with Lucky Cup SOPs.

Help maintain café ambience, equipment readiness, and customer flow efficiency.

2. Customer Service

Deliver warm, friendly, and professional customer service at all times.

Support handling customer feedback, special requests, and minor complaints.

Promote a positive café environment and uphold Lucky Cup service standards.

3. Staff Support & Leadership Exposure

Assist supervisors in guiding and motivating staff during peak hours.

Support onboarding and training of new staff under supervision.

Monitor staff discipline, grooming standards, and task assignments.

Learn leadership and people-management skills through coaching by Outlet/Assistant Manager.

4. Inventory & Stock Monitoring

Assist in monitoring stock levels, raw materials, and supplies.

Support stock replenishment, receiving of goods, and proper storage.

Assist in monthly stock count and basic inventory reporting.

5. Sales & Cash Handling

Support cashiering, payment processing, and POS accuracy.

Ensure proper cash handling, reconciliation, and documentation during assigned shifts.

Help drive sales through product knowledge, upselling, and customer engagement.

6. Compliance & SOP Adherence

Ensure all operations follow Lucky Cup SOPs, brand guidelines, and food safety standards.

Support internal hygiene checks and implement corrective actions as required.

Assist in ensuring regulatory compliance (food handling, safety, and cleanliness).

7. Learning & Development

Participate actively in the Trainee Management Program.

Learn all aspects of outlet operations, including scheduling, reporting, and staff management.

Complete assessments, modules, and practical tasks set by management.

Prepare to transition into Assistant Outlet Manager role upon successful evaluation.
