Job summary

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Trade Compliance Analyst to support and enhance trade compliance activities across the APAC region, with a focus on China-related business. This role requires strong Mandarin communication skills to effectively engage with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct screening of business partners and transactions; investigate flagged transactions and document findings.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, sanctions, and export controls.
  • Support implementation of trade compliance policies and procedures across APAC.
  • Assist with internal audits, risk assessments, and training initiatives.
  • Collaborate with regional stakeholders and share best practices.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Trade, Logistics, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of trade compliance experience, particularly in sanctions and denied party screening.
  • Strong knowledge of international sanctions, export controls, and screening tools (SAP GTS, Descartes, Kharon, Dow Jones; SAP S/4 Hana a plus).
  • Skilled in customer due diligence (KYC).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin
