A travel agency based in Malaysia is seeking a Tour Product Development and Procurement Specialist to design travel packages and enhance product offerings. The ideal candidate should have over 2 years of experience in travel development, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to leadership. Responsibilities include market analysis, relationship management with suppliers, and ensuring operational compliance. This full-time role offers opportunities for promotional growth and bonuses for successful product launches.
Research and design compelling travel packages by analyzing market trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences.
Continuously optimize product performance by reviewing past tour feedback and adapting to evolving market demands.
Identify and recommend new destinations, experiences, and enhancements to strengthen the company’s portfolio.
Partner closely with Sales and Marketing teams to ensure strong product positioning, clear value propositions, and effective promotional strategies.
Support the Sales team with accurate product details and quotations; prepare quotation and manage private and incentive tours.
Build and maintain strong relationships with hotels, airlines, and ground suppliers to secure competitive rates and quality service standards.
Check and confirm the availability of flights, accommodations, and transportation for our group tours.
Manage bookings of hotels and related services for our group tours.
Monitor deadlines, cancellation policies, payment schedules, and penalties to minimize risks and ensure operational compliance.

Requirements
2+ years of experience in travel product development, business analysis, or a related field.
Excellent written & verbal communication skills (English, Mandarin is a plus).
Self‑driven, proactive, and responsible.
