A leading travel agency in Malaysia is seeking a Reservations Consultant with at least 3 years of experience in corporate travel. The role includes managing enquiries via calls and emails regarding ticketing matters and performing administrative tasks related to ticket issuance and refunds. Successful candidates will possess strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia and must be able to work independently. The position may require after-office-hours helpdesk support on a rotational basis.
Attend to enquiries via phone calls, emails, and walk-in customers on ticketing matters such as flight bookings/reservations, hotel bookings, travel insurance arrangements, visa applications, etc.
Source and provide attractive airfares in accordance with corporate travel policies.
Responsible for administrative work related to ticketing, including the issuance of tickets, invoices, exchange orders, refunds, ADM, ACM, etc., in a timely manner.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior from time to time.
Able to work after-office-hours helpdesk on a rotational basis.
Possess knowledge of airline rules, regulations, and fare rule interpretation.
Min. SPM or IATA/UFTAA Diploma.
Min. 3 years’ working experience as a Reservations Consultant (preferably in corporate travel agencies).
Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (spoken & written).
Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
