Job summary

A technology firm in Johor, Kulai is seeking a Test Engineering Manager to lead a team of test engineers. The role involves managing test resources, coordinating equipment transfer and interfacing with customers. Candidates should possess a degree in Electrical/Electronic engineering and a minimum of 4 years of experience in the PCBA manufacturing industry. Proficiency in English and Malay is required, while knowledge of Mandarin is an advantage.

Job description

Responsibilities

1. Manage a team of test engineers, organize, control and implementation of tester to meet the product test requirements.
2. Co-ordinate across department (Product Development Engineering / PDE), implement and ensure smooth transfer of the test equipment / program / fixtures from PDE to manufacturing.
3. Interface with customer and business unit team on products test requirements, provide test report to customer quality team / customers.
4. Lead and guide the test engineers on tester yield improvement, downtime reduction.
5. Plan and manage test resources, test data traceability, and control of testing process.

Job Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical or Electronic course.
• Minimum 4 years’ work experience in the PCBA manufacturing industry environment
• Knowledge of Teradyne & Agilent ICT Test System.
• Good knowledge of product development life cycle and manufacturing process.
• Communications skills in English and Malay. Mandarin will add advantage.
