Job summary

A leading electronics manufacturer in Johor Bahru is looking for proactive and skilled technicians to join their SMT team. Successful candidates will ensure efficient operations of SMT/AIM machines, support production efficiency, and maintain line quality. Responsibilities include machine setup, troubleshooting, and monitoring production processes. A diploma in Electromechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering and at least 1 year of relevant experience are required. Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in Auto Insert Machine (AIM) or Surface Mount Technology (SMT) machines.
• Proven experience in troubleshooting and maintaining machinery.
• Experience in the manufacturing sector is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Set up machine and perform backup during model changes.
• Troubleshoot machine and functional jigs during malfunctions.
• Support production and monitor manpower and process.
• Ensure maintenance of functional jigs for consistent line quality.

Job description

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled technicians to join our SMT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth SMT/AIM machine operations, supporting production efficiency, and maintaining line quality.

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Set up machine, back up block/pin during change model.
2. Perform minor troubleshooting machine, functional jigs problem when malfunction or breakdown.
3. Study and solve machine problem, program, and process problem to achieve daily target.
4. Support production in term of technical and process.
5. Perform minor troubleshooting during machine error and control change model time within a target given.
6. Support production to monitor and control of manpower and process.
7. Ensure the maintenance of functional jigs and ensure consistent line quality.
8. To perform additional responsibilities as and when instructed by superior.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

Candidate must possess at least diploma and above in Electromechanical, Electrical or Electronics Engineering or equivalent.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 1 year experience in Auto Insert Machine (AIM) or Surface Mount Technology (SMT) machines.
• Proven experience in troubleshooting and maintaining machinery is required.
• Candidates with experience in the manufacturing sector will have an added advantage.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Willing to work on a rotational shift.
