Job summary

A leading manufacturing company based in Malaysia is seeking Quality Technicians with either electrical or mechanical backgrounds. Responsibilities include performing inspections on production units, recording inspection data, and ensuring quality standards are met. Candidates should hold a Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or HVAC certification. The position offers two vacancies at Bukit Angkat, Kajang, and requires applicants to have a keen eye for detail and ability to conduct functional tests.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspections on all the units which are being assembled in the production assembly lines.
• To record all inspection results in the appropriate inspection records.
• To highlight to superior all non-conformities found during inspections.
• To ensure that no defective finished goods are sent out (from assembly line).
• Any other duties instructed by the Manager - Quality or his authorized designate.

Authority

Authorized to accept or reject all produced equipment (units) based on reference to drawings, procedures, Purchased Part Specifications, Engineering Standards, Manufacturing Procedures, Work Instructions and other relevant documents or instructions as related to products produced in the assembly lines.

In any other cases, shall refer to immediate superior for assistance or clarification.

Quality Technician with Electrical Background

Requirements:

• Able to read and understand technical drawings.
• Able to read and understand factory orders.
• Able to record required data on inspection records (check sheets).
• Able to understand and conduct functional test on produced units.
• Candidtae must possess Diploma in Electrical Engineering, or HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning); with or without experience.

Quality Technician with Mechanical Background

Requirements:

• Able to read and understand technical drawings.
• Able to read and understand factory orders.
• Able to record required data on inspection records (check sheets).
• Able to understand and conduct functional test on produced units.
• Diploma in Mech. Engineering, or HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning); with or without experience.
