Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform Mold setup and changeover according to production schedule.
• Ensure machine efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on Molds and machines.

Education

Job description

Troubleshoots and resolves technical problems from the product line/ process to minimize reject levels.

For more senior position, might act as team leader to ensure that the work meets agreed targets by directly overseeing work team members.

Generally performs work of a similar nature to those supervised.

Likely to orient or provide guidance to team members but refer most matters to the superior.

Job Requirements

1. Education & Experience
   • Minimum SPM / Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related field.
   • 1–3 years’ experience in injection moulding or plastic moulding operations
2. Technical Skills
   • Knowledge of injection moulding machines and tooling setup.
   • Ability to troubleshoot moulding defects (e.g., short shots, flash, burn marks).
   • Familiarity with machine parameter setting and optimization.
   • Basic understanding of quality control standards and measurement tools.
3. Responsibilities
   • Perform Mold setup and changeover according to production schedule.
   • Ensure machine efficiency and minimize downtime.
   • Conduct preventive maintenance on Molds and machines.
   • Maintain 5S and safety compliance in the work area.
4. Soft Skills
   • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
   • Ability to work in shifts and under pressure.
   • Team player with good communication skills.
5. Additional Requirements
   • Knowledge of ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) is an advantage.
   • Willingness to work overtime when required.
