Job summary

A leading food manufacturing company based in Penang, Malaysia is seeking an individual to ensure proper packing and loading of flour products while maintaining hygiene standards. Responsibilities include operating machinery, driving a forklift, and following standard operating procedures. The ideal candidate should have at least a primary or secondary school qualification. Qualifications

• Minimum Primary / Secondary School / SPM / 'O' Level or equivalent qualification recognized.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all packing and loading procedures are followed.
• Maintain equipment according to the maintenance schedule.
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in the workplace.
• Drive the forklift safely for product transfer.
• Report any machine issues to maintenance.

Job description

• Ensure 1kg packing,25kg packing, bulk loading, cartooning and robotic well operated as SOP.


• Ensure flour brand, bin selected, quality and packing material is correct according to HOD order.


• Machine service and cleaning will be done according to schedule or as per order by HOD.


• Keep contract worker / operator follow the personal hygiene.


• Ensure sample send according to the sample sending frequency given by Lab.


• Ensure CCP checking is done according to procedure.


• Notify maintenance if there is problem or breakdown.


• Drive forklift safely, transfer product from cartooning section to warehouse.


• Ensure all files and documents are completed updated.


• Keep working environment clean and in control.


• Ensure bin fumigation and cleaning or as order by HOD.


• Practice a good teamwork and communication between Packing Technician and all departments.


• Practicing GMP at work and housekeeping in workplace.


• Others: Ad hoc and other duties as assigned.
