Job description

Lemax Technology Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a skilled and proactive Technical Field Support Engineer 技术支持工程师 in Senai Airport City, Johor. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing industrial Vision equipment at client sites. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

1. Responsible for providing technical support for both pre-sales and post-sales projects, ensuring a positive customer product experience, collecting feedback, and driving product improvements;
2. Responsible for on-site equipment installation, software debugging, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure proper and efficient operation of the equipment;
3. Provide technical support and training to customers, addressing and resolving technical issues encountered during product use;
4. Collectcustomer feedback on product issues and requirements, and promptly provide it to the PMand R&D department for requirement evaluation and issueanalysis;
5. Mainly support projects in Thailand, Mexico, India, and Vietnam, with each project cycle lasting approximately 1–2 months.

To succeed in this role, you need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronic, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Electronic Information, Automation, or other related fields;
• Candidates must be fluentin English and able to use it as the primary working language; capable of using Mandarin for daily communication;
• Willing to travel abroad for work;
• Proficient in C# or C++ programming, with relevant software development experience; familiar with multithreading, event callbacks, and integrating third-party functions for secondary development;
• Proficient in VisionPro, VisionMaster, or other vision graphics processing software for process editing and optimization;
• Strong understanding of cameras, lighting, lensesand other vision hardware; capable of selecting the appropriate components based on the project requirements;
• Relevant experiencewith three-axis or multi-axis systems integrated with vision systems for joint debugging;
• Experience in the laser, new energy, or 3C industries is preferred;
• Proactive and responsible, with strong communication skills and excellent logical thinking;
• This positionis primarily based in Malaysia; candidates are required to undertake short and long-term travel to destinations including China, Thailand, Mexico, India, and Vietnam.
• (Must fluency in Mandarin is preferred for liaising with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.)

Working hours: Mon-Fri (8:30 a.m.- 6 p.m.)
