Job summary

A leading glove manufacturing company in Malaysia is looking for a maintenance technician to perform preventive maintenance and ensure optimal performance of the Raw Water Treatment Plant. The ideal candidate should possess at least an SPM/certificate in electrical or mechanical fields, with knowledge of raw water treatment as a plus. Responsibilities include troubleshooting machines, ensuring water quality and contributing to operational excellence. No prior experience is required, making it ideal for new entrants into the field.

Job Description

To carry out total preventive maintenance for raw water intake and Raw Water Treatment Plant (RWTP).
Ensure that the plant is running at optimum condition.

Duties And Responsibilities

To carry out total preventive maintenance for raw water intake and Raw Water Treatment Plant (RWTP).
To troubleshoot machine and carry out modification if necessary.
Ready for on-call duty after working hours.
Willing to work on shift.
To ensure RWTP water quality.
Always feedback to superior regarding any issues/items.
To improve overall equipment efficiency (OEE).
To ensure works/jobs efficiency and quality.
To improve department teamwork.
To liaise with other departments/plants.
To ensure KPI\'s targets are achieved.
To ensure safety of all works.
To ensure all documents are done and kept properly in compliance with ISO, and to keep track of all records.
To ensure all works/jobs are standard compliance.
To reduce breakdown time, and to prevent breakdown.
To rectify complaints from customers.
To carry out any jobs that were given from superiors.
To do all kinds of electrical panel isolation, troubleshooting and wiring work.
Ensure plant 5S is always in good condition.
Always adhere to company rules, policy, and regulations.

Requirements

Education:

SPM / Certificate or Diploma in electrical, mechanical or any equivalent, or
Minimum PW1 wireman or A0 chargeman from Suruhanjaya Tenaga
Professional Engineering Certificate with minimum 3 years of experience in related field.
