Technical Support Engineer (Japanese Speaker)

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Devices & Deployment Support Agent to manage, support, and deploy Windows-based devices across the organization. This role focuses on device lifecycle management, operating system deployment, endpoint configuration, and ensuring a seamless end-user experience from device provisioning to retirement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the full lifecycle of corporate devices (laptops, desktops, peripherals).
  • Perform Windows device deployment using standard images and automated tools.
  • Configure and enroll devices using MDM solutions (e.g., Microsoft Intune, Autopilot).
  • Prepare, image, and configure new devices for end users.
  • Support device refresh, replacement, and decommissioning processes.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, OS, and deployment-related issues.
  • Ensure devices comply with security and configuration policies.
  • Install and manage drivers, firmware, and OS updates.
  • Document deployment procedures, standards, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Provide end-user guidance during onboarding and device setup.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Fluent in Japanese language with at least N1 certification, English A2/B1.
  • Able to onboard by 23rd February 2026 or beginning of March 2026 and work in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
  • Experience supporting and deploying Windows devices in a corporate environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 deployment and configuration.
  • Understanding of device imaging, provisioning, and hardware standards.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, Azure AD, and hybrid environments.
  • Basic networking knowledge (DHCP, DNS, VPN).
  • Experience with hardware troubleshooting and diagnostics.
  • Ability to follow and improve standardized deployment processes.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, or SCCM/MECM will be considered a plus.
  • Knowledge of PowerShell for deployment or automation tasks.
  • Understanding of endpoint security (BitLocker, Defender).
  • Experience with asset management systems.
  • IT certifications (Microsoft, CompTIA A+, ITIL).
