Job summary

A leading construction materials company in Kuching is seeking a technically-focused product development specialist. The successful candidate will develop technical specifications, conduct training, and handle product management activities. They should hold a degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering with at least 2 years of technical experience. The role requires engaging with clients and internal teams to ensure effective product launches and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or any relevant disciplines.
• At least 2 years in a technical capacity with some level of marketing exposure.
• Experience in the steel construction industry would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Promote and share technical and product specifications to customers and AEC.
• Develop a technical specification activity program for public and private specifiers.
• Carry out technical talks and seminars to target groups at least once a month.
• Manage product development plan and strategies for new and existing products.
• Develop training modules for every product launched into the market.
