Job description

Supervise, control, monitor operations and carry out maintenance activities, address breakdowns and delays during the shift to achieve excellence performance at vico plant manufacturing process.

Ensure investigation is conducted into each breakdown to determine the root causes for further actions to reduce the frequency, eliminate the occurrence and where possible improve warning system through the application of QCC tools and FMEA solutions.

Identify methods and techniques to improve packing equipment productivity, efficiency and yield.

Supporting process equipment to enhance safety, reliability and reduce downtime.

Respond to breakdowns in a timely fashion ensuring that repairs are carried out timely and efficiently so as to limit the impact on manufacturing.

Implement FMEA and other problem-solving skill to achieve better control and improvement of the machinery productivity and reliability.

Achieve plan output on time, on budget and quality.

Carry out convention set up on packaging equipment as required to ensure that the highest possible yields are obtained within laid down process parameters.

Ensure the cleaning process complies to hygiene requitements.

Perform preventive maintenance and plant machinery overhaul accordingly.

Optimize machine setting to achieve machine optimum condition.

Ensure that instruments are calibrated according to ISOP requirements.

Support projects for plant expansion and work closely with production to achieve smooth machine operation and targeted output.

Adhere to safety health rules/ regulations that’s comply to OSHA and food safety regulations that’s comply to relevant authorities, HACCP, ISO-9000,BRC,Halal and other requirements.

Prevent and summit necessary reports to superior on times.

Continuous improvement in production and maintenance processes.

Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, trouble shooting, and repair of production machine.

Ensure that all company rules and regulation are complied with all times while attending to work, including safety and housekeeping of work place while maintenance work is being performed.

Responsible for up keeping/ maintaining of individual spare parts inventory a tools and equipment allocated to them.

To take ownership and responsibility for food safety and its non-compliance challenges.

Requirements:

Degree/Diploma, in Mechanical/Mechatronics/ Electrical or equivalent and have high technical skill.

Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English

At least 1-2 year(s) of working experience in the related field

Applicants must be willing to work in Butterworth

Preferably a person specializing in Maintenance/Repair (Facilities & Machinery) or equivalent

Familiar with motor, pumps, electronic parts, sensor, PLC, welding skill and mechanical setting.
