A leading engineering company in Malacca is seeking a field service engineer to perform troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing complex equipment at customer sites. Responsibilities include managing installation issues, providing technical training, and preparing service reports. Candidates should hold a relevant engineering degree and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin is required to communicate with customers and the field service team.
Field service tasks at a customer's facility that involve troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing complicated equipment.
Troubleshoot installation and upgrade issues.
Conduct customer orientation and technical training for user application on all elements of equipment maintenance assistance.
Prepare field service reports on customer support activity and give documentation on recurring problems to other supporting units.
Undertake any responsibilities that assign by Manager from time to time.
Candidates must possess at least a Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia, Diploma, or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electronic, Electrical, Mechatronic, or any other engineering-related course.
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work under pressure, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Candidate should be capable of working in a team and willing to travel to customer site.
Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mandarin (To liaise with field service team and customers from China).
