Job summary

A leading manufacture in polymers is seeking a Technical Assistant to support new development activities and ensure compliance with standards. The ideal candidate should have a minimum qualification of SPM or a related certificate and at least one year of experience in the rubber/polymers manufacturing sector. Responsibilities include assisting in mold inspections, carrying out documentation for IATF and ISO standards, and supporting the Technical Executive and Engineer in product development processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of working experience in the rubber/polymers related manufacturing field.
• Able to handle manual work as well as operate production’s machineries and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Technical Executive and Engineer in new development activities.
• Follow up on all activities of new product development.
• Carry out mold inspection, cleaning, and mold setup.

Job Responsibility

• To assist Technical Executive and Engineer in new development activities.
• To follow up all the activities of new product development (mould inspection, processing activities such as Blanking, Metal Preparation, Moulding Process (compression / Injection), Postcure Process, Finish Part Inspection and Packing).
• Carry out mold inspection, cleaning and mold setup on compression/injection machine.
• To assist in data collection for development process activities.
• Assist in drafting work instructions for processing steps.
• Ensure all documentation required by IATF, ISO, and other compliance standards is properly maintained and updated.
