Job summary

Qualifications

  • Good knowledge of mechanical dimensioning & tolerancing analysis and poka-yoke principles.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Monitor, maintain and qualify equipment, tools/fixtures for production used. Perform periodic verification and calibration on equipment, tools, and fixtures.
  • Apply lean manufacturing principles to eliminate waste in the production process and improve yield.
  • Execute high‑precision assembly tasks in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment as a detail‑oriented candidate with proven experience in epoxy bonding processes.
  • Observe discrepancies, understand the manufacturing process in detail, troubleshoot at an appropriate level and involve senior members of staff.
  • Derive continual improvement and use of resources.
  • Perform any other duties as directed by the immediate superior from time to time.
Qualifications
  • Experience with optical alignment machines is a significant advantage.
  • Strong communication skills to interface well with peers and enhance teamwork.
  • Strong emotional intelligence.
  • Diploma of Engineering preferably majoring in Mechatronics, Mechanical or Electrical.
  • At least 1 to 5 years of working experience in MNC industries; 8 years in a high‑mix, high‑volume manufacturing environment is an added advantage.
  • Willing to work on a 12‑hour shift, independently, and able to solve basic technical issues.
  • Good computer literacy, SPC & OPAC knowledge.
  • Must exhibit a strong sense of analytical skills with a hands‑on working attitude.
  • Adaptable and flexible to rapid changes to the business needs of the company.
  • Good knowledge of mechanical dimensioning & tolerancing analysis; poka‑yoke principles will be an added advantage.
