Job summary

Qualifications

About the Role

Tara Foundation is seeking an energetic and dedicated Teacher to join our Pusat Tuisyen Percuma Centre located at Kuala Kubu Baru, Selangor. This full‑time role involves delivering high‑quality primary and secondary education to students while also managing the day‑to‑day administration and operations of the centre.

What you'll be doing
  • Designing and delivering engaging and effective lessons to primary school students in line with the curriculum.
  • Providing individualised attention and tailored instruction to meet students’ unique learning needs.
  • Monitoring and assessing students’ academic progress, providing regular and constructive feedback to students and parents.
  • Maintaining accurate student records and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Overseeing daily administrative and operational functions of the centre, ensuring efficient scheduling, effective resource management, and proper upkeep of facilities.
What we're looking for
  • Minimum Diploma or Degree in Education or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in primary and secondary education.
  • Good communication skills in English, Tamil, and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to foster positive and supportive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Proficient in leveraging educational technology and software.
  • Teaching experience at the secondary level will be an added advantage.
  • A genuine passion for delivering high‑quality education and making a positive impact on the lives of young students.
