A local bakery in Johor Bahru is seeking a dedicated individual to prepare drinks and desserts while ensuring adherence to quality and hygiene standards. Responsibilities include measuring ingredients, managing inventory, and maintaining cleanliness at the bar station. Candidates must possess at least an SPM or equivalent and have relevant working experience. Effective communication skills in Malay and English, or Mandarin, are required to interact with clients. Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays is essential.
Prepare drinks and desserts for customers, ensuring adherence to standard procedures and quality control.
Measure ingredients accurately and follow specified brewing times and methods to maintain the quality of menu items.
Track ingredient expiry dates and manage their use to minimize waste.
Oversee ingredient inventory, requesting stock purchases as needed to maintain adequate supplies.
Keep the bar station clean and organized throughout service.
Cleaning the bar station after business hours and preparing it for the next day.
Adhere to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) set by KKM and Halal standards, ensuring compliance with all regulations. Maintain high levels of hygiene and cleanliness at all times to meet these standards.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
