System Administrator – IT Infrastructure & Cloud Operations

The System Administrator ensures the stability, security, and performance of Finexus’ IT infrastructure, supporting critical business systems and data center operations. By maintaining core systems, optimizing performance, and enabling secure access across environments, you help the organization deliver reliable products and services while protecting operational integrity, business continuity, and customer trust.

About the Role

You will manage and operate both on-premise and cloud infrastructure, ensuring systems are reliable, secure, and optimized for performance. This role requires strong hands‑on capabilities across servers, storage, virtualization, cloud platforms, containerization, and monitoring. You will also lead automation initiatives, participate in incident response, and contribute to continuous improvements in operational efficiency, system reliability, and security posture, while collaborating with business and technical stakeholders.

Mission / Expected Outcomes
  • Maintain high availability, reliability, and performance of IT systems and data center operations.
  • Strengthen security posture through proactive patching, configuration hardening, and access control.
  • Enhance operational efficiency via automation, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring improvements.
  • Ensure robust backup, restoration, and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Provide effective incident response, minimizing downtime and operational impact.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally to support business continuity and system reliability.
Key Responsibilities
  • Infrastructure & System Administration: Operate, monitor, and maintain on‑premise and cloud systems (servers, storage, virtualization, firewalls); install, configure, and optimize applications and infrastructure services for reliability, security, and performance; manage user identities, authentication, and access controls.
  • Cloud & Containerized Environments: Manage AWS, Azure, or GCP infrastructure to ensure secure, stable operations; support Kubernetes clusters including configuration, deployment, and health monitoring; implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments and operational workflows.
  • Monitoring, Performance & Security: Configure and maintain monitoring platforms such as Grafana, Prometheus, and Zabbix; conduct performance tuning and resource optimization; apply patches, updates, and configuration improvements to maintain security standards.
  • Backup, Disaster Recovery & Incident Response: Oversee data storage, backup, and restoration processes; participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and reporting; provide on‑call rotational support, respond to incidents, troubleshoot production issues, and document root causes.
  • Work closely with technical and business teams to prioritize system improvements and resolve issues.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance automation, operational efficiency, and infrastructure reliability.
  • Mentor junior team members and promote best practices in infrastructure management, monitoring, and security.

Infrastructure: Servers, virtualization, storage, firewalls, access control. Monitoring & Performance: Grafana, Prometheus, Zabbix. Databases: Setup, configuration, administration, troubleshooting.
