Job summary

A well-established Japanese restaurant in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Sushi Chef to prepare delicious sushi rolls and fresh dishes. The ideal candidate will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure a clean and vibrant cooking environment. Applicants should have a diploma in Culinary Arts or relevant experience, with at least one year as a Sushi Chef. This role requires knowledge of various sushi types and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

  • Able to work on shift hours, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Minimum 1 year of working experience as a Sushi Chef.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare sushi rolls and dishes from the sushi bar.
  • Work closely with kitchen crew.
  • Responsible for replenishing stock.
  • Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen areas and equipment.
