Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is looking for a Supply Chain Management Officer to develop purchasing plans, manage supplier relationships, and ensure efficient inventory processes. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in production or material planning and be proficient in Mandarin for communication with suppliers in China. Strong organizational skills and experience with MRP, ERP, or SAP systems are essential for this position.

Job Title : Supply Chain Management (Talent Pool)

Responsibilities

Develop and implement plans for purchasing materials, components and supplies

Analyze supplier quotations and negotiate prices and delivery terms

Track inventory levels, drive inventory accuracy, delivery schedules and purchase orders

Analyze data to identify opportunities for cost reductions and process improvements

Production planning, scheduling and coordinating production of the company's product

Evaluating raw materials and equipment to ensure everything is in place for production

Ensuring materials meet specifications, quality standards and are cost‑efficient

Ensuring the consistent and adequate supply of materials necessary for production

Coordinating with other departments regarding production goals, timelines, supplier payments, etc.

Liaising with customers, suppliers and distributors

Scheduling and overseeing the supply and delivery of materials and products

Managing inventory issues, schedule changes and cancellations

Preparing cost estimations and performance reports

Qualifications

Diploma/Degree or equivalent with minimum 5 years experience in production/material planning

Strong computer skills and knowledge of MS Office and ability to learn new software/program as opportunities or department needs arise

Experience in MRP, ERP or SAP system

Highly organized with strong attention to detail, and superior follow‑up and follow‑through skills

Proficient in Mandarin for liaison with China suppliers/partners
