A multinational FMCG company in Malaysia is hiring an Assistant Finance Manager to oversee supply chain finance, manufacturing costing, and month-end operations. Key responsibilities include preparing financial and operational reports, supporting forecast and budgeting, and facilitating process improvements. Candidates should possess a degree in Accounting/Finance, 5 years of relevant experience preferably in manufacturing, and strong analytical skills. Proficiency in SAP is advantageous. Excellent communication in English is required.

Supply Chain Finance - Assistant Manager

We are currently recruiting for a multinational FMCG products manufacturing company in Malaysia who is looking to hire an experienced Assistant Finance Manager, who will be responsible for supply chain finance, manufacturing costing and month end close matters for the assigned legal entity(s) in the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for end-to-end supply chain finance scopes, which would include manufacturing costing, inventory, warehousing & logistics costs, etc.
• Monthly financial and operational reports preparations in relation to manufacturing for Supply Chain stakeholders.
• Act as the business partner, using the detailed analysis and insights to support business decisions.
• Look into process improvement, efficiency and automation for operational and costing processes.
• Responsible for monthly closing activities while working closely with the accounting team.
• Supporting on forecast and budgeting exercises related to manufacturing costing.
• Assist in ad-hoc projects and assignments as and when required.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Possess Degree in Accounting/Finance or professionally qualified accountant ie. ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, CIMA, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant costing & financial reporting, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Experience in SAP would be a big advantage.
• Possess strong critical thinking, resilience in fast-paced environment and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and communication skills in English.
