The Supply Chain cum Logistics Coordinator is responsible for ensuring smooth end-to-end flow of goods, from procurement and inventory planning to warehouse coordination and delivery fulfilment. The role supports daily operational accuracy, timely replenishment, and efficient logistics planning to meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Supply Chain & Procurement Support
- Assist in planning, forecasting, and procuring raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
- Monitor supplier performance, lead times, and delivery accuracy.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders; follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of supplier agreements, pricing, and product specifications.
2. Inventory Management
- Track and update inventory levels daily across warehouses.
- Coordinate stock replenishment based on demand, minimum stock levels, and production schedules.
- Investigate stock variances and work with relevant teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Support monthly or periodic stock counts and reconciliation.
3. Logistics & Distribution Coordination
- Schedule and coordinate outbound deliveries, ensuring timely, accurate fulfilment.
- Liaise with transporters, drivers, and internal teams on delivery arrangements and route planning.
- Handle documentation such as delivery orders, shipping records, and transport invoices.
- Assist in monitoring cold chain integrity (if applicable) and product handling requirements.
4. Warehouse Operations Support
- Work closely with warehouse teams to plan inbound and outbound activities.
- Ensure proper storage standards, FIFO practices, and inventory rotation.
- Highlight any operational issues related to storage, picking, or dispatch.
5. Data & Reporting
- Prepare daily/weekly reports: stock movement, delivery status, inbound/outbound summaries.
- Analyse supply chain data to identify bottlenecks or improvement opportunities.
6. Cross-Department Coordination
- Work with production, sales, finance, and quality teams to meet operational requirements.
- Communicate delays, shortages, or issues promptly to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience; fresh graduates with internship experience are welcome.
- Strong organisational and coordination skills.
- Proficient in MS Excel / Google Sheets; experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
- Good communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to solve problems independently.
- For F&B/retail production environments, familiarity with cold-chain processes is a plus.
