Job summary

A premium coffee brand in Malaysia is seeking a Supply Chain professional to manage the entire process from creating quotations to logistical arrangements. The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Operation Management, with demand planning experience preferred. Strong communication skills, being detail-oriented, and the ability to work independently are essential. Fluency in English and preferably Mandarin will enhance communication with clients.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from reputable Universities, preferably in Supply Chain/Operation Management.
  • Demand/Supply Planning experience is preferred.
  • Fluent in English; Mandarin is a plus for communication.

Responsibilities

  • Create quotations and sales orders based on leads from the sales team.
  • Verify stock availability and inform customers about changes.
  • Make logistical arrangements for timely delivery of goods.
  • Communicate status updates to various stakeholders.
  • Work with the sales team on forecasting and demand planning.
  • Handle queries from the sales team.

Role Summary

This role will be responsible for the Supply Chain process from creating quotation, sales order, up to making logistical arrangements to ensure delivery of goods to the end customer. Frequent communications will be required with the sales team and customers to ensure all stakeholders are well informed to the status of the sales order.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create quotations and sales order based on leads generated by the sales team
  • Verify stock availability and communicate with customers on changes
  • Make logistical arrangements to ensure timely delivery of goods
  • Communicate and update various stakeholders on status of sales order
  • Work with sales team to develop forecast and demand planning
  • Handle queries from sales team
General Requirements
  • A bachelor’s degree from reputable Universities, preferably in Supply Chain/Operation Management
  • Demand/Supply Planning experience preferred
  • A team player that's able to communicate well with different stakeholders
  • A natural problem-solver with a patient and positive attitude.
  • A self-starter who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and can manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Able to show initiative and to work without supervision.
  • Fluent in English (speak and read), preferably Mandarin as well to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
  • Basic operation of a computer and spreadsheet
