Job description

Engage business stakeholders to understand problems, pain points, and operational gaps.

Propose interim workarounds when development will take time, ensuring business continuity.

Identify whether a request should be treated as a Project or a BAU enhancement.

B. Documentation & Requirement Preparation

Before submitting any request into OSTicket, BA must prepare:

• Business Requirements Document (BRD)
• Current (As-Is) process flow
• Future (To-Be) process flow
• Key business rules and acceptance criteria

Ensure documentation is clear, complete, and ready for Product/Development review.

C. Collaboration With Product & Technology

Work with Product Owners after OSTicket submission to refine requirements.

Clarify logic, dependencies, and business rules with the respective teams.

Support grooming, prioritization, and preparation for development.

D. Support User Acceptance Test (UAT)

Assist in preparing UAT scenarios and test cases.

Validate that delivered features meet business needs.

E. Governance & Tracking

Track all submitted requests until closure.

Support PMO reporting, status updates, and documentation updates when required.
