Qualifications

Electrofast Manufacturing – Klang, Selangor

You will be responsible for the efficient and organized management of the factory’s material storage operations, including the handling, documentation, and movement of incoming and outgoing goods. This role requires strong leadership to oversee a team of store personnel, enforce operational standards, and maintain full compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations for materials from receiving, storage, until dispatch to production or delivery.
• Coordinate unloading of incoming materials and ensure items are stored in the correct designated locations.
• Ensure timely issuing/dispatch of materials with accurate documentation (receiving notes, issue slips, inventory logs).
• Maintain accurate stock records; perform scheduled/ad-hoc stock count and follow up discrepancies.
• Monitor stock status and provide regular updates to Purchasing Officer and relevant departments.
• Ensure FIFO is followed to prevent expiry/obsolete materials.
• Maintain a safe, tidy and organized store environment by implementing 6S and proper labeling/stacking/storage as per SOP.
• Ensure store practices comply with safety and regulatory requirements (e.g., JKKP/DOSH, BOMBA) and support inspections when required.
• Lead, supervise and train storemen; assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure productivity & discipline in the team.
• Continuously improve store layout and workflow to optimize space, accessibility and material movement.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM / SPMV / SKM (Diploma/Certificate is an added advantage).
• At least 2–3 years’ experience in store/warehouse/material handling (manufacturing preferred).
• Able to communicate in English & Bahasa Malaysia.
• Basic computer skills required (Excel / inventory system / ERP is an added advantage); experience in stock count & FIFO preferred.
• Able to lead a small team, work independently, physically fit, and familiar with 6S & safe handling (JKKP/DOSH, BOMBA added advantage).
