A leading edible oils company in Selangor is seeking a Storekeeper to assist with stock management including receiving, recording, and issuing engineering spares and materials. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of relevant experience, strong teamwork abilities, and attention to detail. Responsibilities include maintaining stock in good condition, preparing stock reports, initiating orders, and ensuring compliance with ISO standards. This role requires a proactive approach to inventory management in a fast-paced environment.
Assist in receiving, recording, and storing engineering spares, equipment, tools, lubricants, chemicals, packaging materials, and pallets.
Ensure stock items are stored in the correct locations as per the documented work instructions and maintained in good condition.
Update stock cards for all receipts and issues accurately.
Prepare precise stock reports and conduct regular physical stock counts.
Initiate purchase requisitions for spare parts and consumables when stock levels reach minimum or reorder points.
Participate in yearly stock-taking activities as instructed by management.
Assist in unloading and verifying incoming materials against delivery notes or packing lists.
Issue materials to authorized personnel and maintain accurate records of issued items.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the engineering, packaging, ingredient, and chemical stores.
Submit completed documentation for supervisor review and verification.
Comply with company guidelines on record retention and disposal.
Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 standards, company policies, and relevant quality requirements.
