Job description

To assist the Storekeepers and Store Supervisor to perform warehouse & shipping tasks - receiving, issuing, shipping and other related duties instructed by the superior.

To ensure FIFO and stock identification and segregation is practiced at all times.

To load and/or unload goods from trucks and containers.

Data entry updates for stock movements in the M3 and label printing computer systems.

To conduct daily cycle counts of materials and finished goods.

To use and maintain MHEs such as pallet trucks, forklifts and reach trucks.

To attend training and participate in Emergency Response Team activities.

To maintain housekeeping and 5S in work areas.

Any other tasks as assigned by superiors.

Requirements:

Minimum SPM, computer literate and with some experience in material handling software.

Able to speak and write in English and with strong mathematical skills.

Possess a valid driving license and able to drive forklifts and reach trucks.

Able to work on shifts and overtime.

Minimum 2 years of warehousing experience in a manufacturing environment.

Able to carry loads up to 25kg.

Previous training in material handling equipment (MHEs) an added advantage.
