Job summary

Qualifications

  • Must possess a Diploma in Nursing, Medical Assistant, or equivalent.
  • Registration with Nursing Board Malaysia (LJM) required.
  • Valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) and Annual Renewal Certificate (ARC) needed.

Job description

We are looking for a Staff Nurse/Medical assistant to work in the Clinic. The ideal candidate must be someone that is interested in Orthopaedic that is able to provide a good nursing care to the patients.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor patient’s condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advise.
  • Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to doctor/surgeon.
  • Collaborate with doctors and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients.
  • Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.) and fill in patient’s charts.
  • Adjust and administer patient’s medication and provide treatments according to physician’s orders.
  • Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (Decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds etc.)
  • Provide instant medical care in emergencies.
  • Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families.
  • Perform in front desk work (Registration of patient’s, answering phone calls).
  • Documentation of each patient’s file before and after visiting the consultant.
  • Support any ad-hoc assignment.
Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Nursing, Medical assistant or equivalent.
  • Registration with nursing board Malaysia (LJM)
  • Valid annual practicing certificate (APC), Annual Renewal Certificate (ARC)
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Well verse in Bahasa Malaysia and English additional language will be added advantage.
  • Willing to learn and take on responsibility
  • At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Fresh grads are welcomed to apply.
