Job Overview

The Staff Nurseprovides direct patient care, assists in medical procedures, and ensures that all activities are carried out with the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and patient care. This position is crucial in delivering quality, timely, and compassionate care to patients in need of medical attention.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic procedures to patients.
  • Assist doctors in stress ECG, including promotion of the service, screening of patients prior to doing stress ECG, patient preparation and monitoring during the test and assist in resuscitation when required.
  • Assist in promotion and answering queries of health screening services to patients.
  • Supervising and assisting venipuncture.
  • Assist doctor in other aspects e.g. giving injection/vaccination, pap smear, help in explaining result, chaperone etc. when required.
  • Arrange and monitor specialist doctors schedule.
  • Coordinate with specialist doctors on various matters, arrangements and etc.
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and participating in professional societies.
  • Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Identify patient care requirements by establishing personal rapport with patients and their families.
  • Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols; medication administration and storage procedures; and controlled substance regulations.
  • Maintain nursing supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level.
  • Maintain continuity among nursing teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
  • Ensure operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; calling for repairs; and evaluating new equipment and techniques.
  • Assist dentists as and when required (if applicable).
  • Help out with other works in the outlet, when required.
  • Other assignments as and when given by the Management.
Qualifications

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Nursing or equivalent.

Candidate who has completed basic life support (BLS) course is preferred.

Must Registered with Malaysia Nursing Board and possess a valid APC.

OT experience is an advantage.

Looking for experienced candidates (Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).

Being able to start immediately is an added advantage.

Previous experience in a clinical or fast-paced healthcare environment is highly preferred.

Experience with patient care, triage, or basic medical procedures is beneficial.
