About the Role

Typical Day Responsibilities
- Deliver training sessions in classroom, on‑site, or virtual settings, ensuring they are engaging and aligned with adult learning principles.
- Design training curriculum and develop training programs that align with organizational goals, incorporate industry trends and best practices, and produce course materials and lesson plans.
- Collaborate with external subject‑matter experts to enhance programs and build professional networks.
- Support revenue generation by positioning training offerings effectively and promoting programs through various channels.
- Work with various departments to align training with business objectives and specific team needs.
- Conduct training needs assessments by working with managers and leaders to identify gaps and tailor programs.
- Deliver knowledge checks via assessments and evaluations; measure participant progress using tests, practical exercises, and feedback.
- Maintain accurate training records, including attendance, assessment results, and other documentation.
- Commit to continuous learning, staying updated on industry trends, acquiring new certifications, and participating in relevant training.
The Essential Requirements of the Job
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or chemical engineering with 7+ years of experience in instrumentation or the water‑related industry.
- Experience delivering training sessions, workshops, or seminars.
- Additional professional certification is an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Outstanding analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Strong marketing skills and a mindset to achieve revenue targets.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Personality and interpersonal skills: passionate about training, friendly and approachable, team‑orientated, adaptable, and knowledgeable.
- Willingness to travel within Malaysia and APAC.
