A leading manufacturing company in Negeri Sembilan is looking for a Sales/Business Development professional. The role involves managing key accounts, identifying new prospects, and preparing proposals to expand business. Candidates should have a Diploma or Degree in Business or Marketing, with a minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience and proven sales achievements. Strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office are essential, along with the ability to travel as necessary.
Develop, acquire, maintain, and strengthen business relationships with all assigned key accounts by providing support, recommendations, solutions, and guidance.
Identify and pursue new prospects while managing and growing existing customer accounts.
Actively promote company products and initiate new sales opportunities.
Prepare and present proposals to expand business within existing accounts.
Monitor industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for product improvement or new product introduction.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending discussions, meetings, and workshops; building personal networks; and reviewing relevant professional publications.
Ensure accurate and timely preparation of sales reports.
Collaborate with QA/QC, Planning, Production, and Engineering teams to address customer complaints, technical issues, and inquiries, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
Comply with statutory laws, OSH, QMS, and company rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
Understand and support OSH and QMS policies and objectives.
Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent working experience).
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in Sales/Business Development (for Senior Executive); 4–6 years (for Assistant Manager).
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong customer relationships.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Good problem-solving skills with the ability to handle customer issues effectively.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with CRM systems is an advantage.
Able to travel locally/regionally when required.
Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an added advantage).
