Position Summary

We are seeking a seasoned HR professional with deep expertise in HR operations, payroll, and sales incentive administration, who is also motivated to grow into a strategic HR Business Partner role. The ideal candidate is a senior individual contributor who works independently, drives continuous improvement, and champions initiatives that enhance HR operations, organizational effectiveness and employee experience. This role combines technical excellence, project leadership, and business partnering exposure.

Key Responsibilities
1. HR Operations & Payroll Management
  • Lead end-to-end HR operations processes, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and timely execution across the employee lifecycle.
  • Oversee payroll processing, including preparing accurate payroll inputs, sales incentive calculations, statutory compliance, and finance reporting.
  • Manage employee lifecycle events in alignment with internal processes and local regulations.
  • Ensure smooth delivery of HR programs, including compensation reviews, benefits administration, policy rollouts, and engagement initiatives.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and recommend solutions to improve service delivery and operational effectiveness.
2. Continuous Improvement & Project Leadership
  • Champion significant HR projects, programs, and process improvements with creativity and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Solve complex operational and business problems independently, providing practical and innovative solutions.
  • Influence policies, practices, and procedures to drive operational excellence and compliance.
  • Lead or support cross-functional initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness and employee experience.
3. HRBP Exposure & Development
  • Act as the HR point of contact for assigned business units, supporting workforce planning, talent initiatives, performance management, and employee engagement.
  • Analyze HR and business data for the assigned units to identify trends, generate insights, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Lead HR programs and projects within the assigned units, gaining hands‑on experience in business partnering activities.
  • Gradually develop business acumen and foundational HRBP skills, building a platform for growth into a broader HRBP role over time.
4. Compliance & Policy Governance
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, company policies, and global HR standards.
  • Partner with legal and compliance teams to manage investigations, mitigate organizational risk and support consistent policy interpretation.
  • Keep stakeholders informed of regulatory changes and advise on appropriate actions.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in HR operations, payroll, and sales incentive administration in complex organizations.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysia’s employment legislation and HR best practices.
  • Proven track record of driving process improvement, continuous improvement (CI), or operational excellence initiatives.
  • Experienced in managing complex problems independently and influencing stakeholders.
  • High proficiency in Excel and HR systems; able to leverage technology to optimize processes and insights.
  • Strong analytical, attention to detail, communication, and interpersonal skills; able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • High level of maturity, integrity, and sound judgment in handling confidential information.
  • Motivated to develop into a strategic HRBP role.
