A leading automotive manufacturing firm in Malaysia is seeking a Sr Executive/Asst. Manager for manufacturing and supply chain operations. The candidate will be responsible for planning and overseeing daily production, ensuring quality, and optimizing the supply chain. Ideal applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in engineering or related fields along with 3–7 years of experience in manufacturing operations. Planning, coordinating and monitoring daily production and operational activities.
Ensure production schedules, quality standards and delivery timelines are met.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Monitor operational KPIs and prepare performance reports for management.
Supervise and guide production teams to ensure smooth shop floor operations.
Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain and HR departments.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.
Support implementation and adherence to SOPs and company policies.
ED Painting Management: Oversee and manage ED painting processes, ensuring quality, efficiency, and adherence to schedules.
Assist in managing end-to-end supply chain activities including planning, purchasing, inventory and logistics.
Ensure timely availability of raw materials, components and consumables to support production schedules.
Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock holding to minimize excess, shortage and obsolescence.
Support supplier management activities including performance monitoring, cost negotiation and issue resolution.
Support implementation of supply chain improvement initiatives and process standardization.
Ensure compliance with company policies, audit requirements and regulatory standards.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management or related field.
Minimum 3–7 years’ experience in manufacturing operations (automotive industry preferred).
Strong understanding of production processes and operational KPIs.
Experience in managing ED Painting operations is an added advantage.
Good leadership, communication and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Proficient in MS Office and reporting tools.
