As a Sports Advisor, your role is to ensure all customers leave our store satisfied. From a friendly welcome to a quick checkout, you will deliver a 5-star shopping experience. Responsibilities:
1. Customer Service
- Welcome customers professionally.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing suitable solutions for returns, complaints, and checkout.
- Educate customers on our omni-channel brand offerings and product features.
- Understand the technical features and benefits of products to recommend appropriate options.
- Build relationships with customers both in-store and online.
- Share your passion for sports and help customers discover new sports activities.
- Encourage loyalty card registration to enhance customer information.
- Participate in local sports community events.
2. Representation of Decathlon Malaysia
- Align with departmental goals and collaborate with the team to achieve them.
- Promote innovation and enhance the in-store sports experience.
- Utilize resources and tools to boost sales.
- Arrange store layout according to guidelines for optimal customer experience.
- Maintain high-quality store presentation based on the Satisfied Customer Family (FCS) principles.
- Ensure stock accuracy and availability using the replenishment system.
- Promote awareness of Decathlon Connect among stakeholders.
3. Safety and Security
- Enforce safety and security standards within the store.
- Know and apply fire safety and evacuation procedures.
- Follow security protocols to prevent theft and shrinkage.
- Adhere to product safety policies, including handling sensitive products and expiry dates.
4. Skills Development
- Manage personal development and training plans.
- Participate in training sessions and develop coaching skills.
- Assist in training teammates under leadership guidance.
