Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in revenue accounting, cost analysis, or financial analysis.
  • Solid understanding of revenue recognition standards (MFRS 15).
  • Prior experience in a Big 4 accounting firm is an advantage.

The Day-To-Day Activities
  • Manage and oversee end-to-end revenue accounting activities across multiple products and services, ensuring accurate and timely recognition in full compliance with MFRS 15, internal policies, and governance frameworks.
  • Lead detailed analysis of revenue and direct costs for telco products, services, and projects, providing strategic insights, identifying business drivers, and supporting senior management in performance evaluation and decision-making.
  • Supervise the preparation, maintenance, and review of balance sheet schedules, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely reconciliation while proactively resolving discrepancies and strengthening control processes.
  • Drive the preparation, review, and delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue, cost, and accounts receivable reports, providing clear commentary, variance analysis, and actionable insights for executive stakeholders.
  • Act as a key finance business partner, working closely with Sales, Operations, Revenue Assurance, Credit Control, and other teams to resolve complex issues, improve data integrity, and optimize end-to-end financial processes.
  • Ensure strong financial governance by monitoring compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements, and implementing corrective actions where necessary.
  • Lead and coordinate internal and external audit activities for revenue, cost, and AR areas, ensuring timely submission of documentation, accurate responses, and efficient audit completion.
  • Champion continuous improvement and automation initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance reporting efficiency, strengthen controls, and improve data accuracy across revenue and AR processes.
  • Support management with strategic financial insights, including ad hoc analysis, scenario modelling, and inputs for budgeting, forecasting, and business case evaluations.
  • Provide guidance to junior team members, fostering strong analytical capabilities, encouraging process discipline, and supporting knowledge-building within the team.
About You
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting; professional certifications like ACCA, CPA or CIMA is preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in revenue accounting, cost analysis, or financial analysis
  • Solid understanding of revenue recognition standards (MFRS 15)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and other data analysis tools. (eg. ACL is a plus)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and with various stakeholders.
  • Prior experience in a Big 4 accounting firm is an advantage
