Job description
Key Responsibilities
1. Inventory Management
  • Oversee all aspects of spare parts inventory — ordering, receiving, storage, issuing, and stock control.
  • Ensure proper stock levels are maintained to prevent overstocking or shortages.
  • Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
2. Procurement & Supplier Coordination
  • Source and evaluate new suppliers for competitive pricing and quality.
  • Negotiate purchase terms, discounts, and delivery schedules with vendors.
  • Ensure timely procurement and replenishment based on demand and forecast.
3. Sales & Customer Service
  • Manage retail counter sales, internal workshop requisitions, and external dealer orders.
  • Develop sales strategies to increase spare parts revenue and profitability.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and warranty claims related to parts.
4. Pricing & Profitability
  • Set and monitor pricing strategies aligned with company profit targets.
  • Review cost structure and market competitiveness regularly.
  • Ensure accuracy of pricing in system records and invoices.
5. Team Management
  • Supervise parts advisors, storekeepers, and clerical staff.
  • Provide training and guidance to enhance product knowledge and service efficiency.
6. Reporting & Compliance
  • Generate periodic reports on stock movement, sales performance, and aging inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with company SOPs, ISO/5S standards, and safety regulations in the parts warehouse.
  • Support management in audits and internal control reviews.
Requirements
