Job description

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Sourcing Manager - REMOTE. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing global sourcing strategies that enhance cost efficiency, quality, and service for assigned products. Your impact will extend across various departments including operations, product management, and supply chain, ensuring a collaborative approach to mitigate risks and drive innovation. You will take charge of supplier collaboration and engage in vital negotiations that optimize the total cost of ownership.

Accountabilities

• Design and execute global sourcing strategies on assigned products.
• Collaborate with operations, quality/compliance, product management, and supply chain teams to qualify new suppliers.
• Identify and manage risks associated with assigned products.
• Develop and manage master supply agreements (MSAs), involving proposal analysis and cost negotiation.
• Lead business strategies to source new items and optimize existing items.
• Conduct competitor and industry analysis to enhance the company's sourcing position.
• Facilitate supplier meetings to review performance and scorecards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 5+ years of experience in Sourcing, Purchasing, or Supply Chain Management.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Understanding of MRP/ERP systems; SAP experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent negotiating skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
