We are looking for an immediate, full-time, permanent position in APAC at Cyberjaya, Malaysia.

Job Purpose

• Refine and implement best local / sub-regional category specific strategies, across all categories of GBS Procurement’s managed spend. Work closely with local procurement teams to ensure best in class suppliers and maintain good relationships with the various internal business units and stakeholders. Prepare and support RFPs via our eSourcing platforms, support supplier negotiations at local level, and ensure cost competitiveness, compliance, and overall satisfaction for our stakeholders.

Your tasks

• Conduct RFPs in our eSourcing tools
• Provide professional sourcing support for key business initiatives, supply market research / intelligence to support business decisions in investments and budgets and establishment of local or sub-regional frame contracts
• Integrate Procurement services at country level for the business colleagues (divisions) are in scope. Achieving greatest value contribution, benefit realization and efficiency from all procurement activities and ensuring customer satisfaction by meeting their demands in terms of quality, price and service
• Specialize in strategic sourcing of goods and services and transportation capacities in order to reduce costs and ensure quality and supply as needed by the business / function in scope
• Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of local:
  • markets / category trends
  • suppliers / key local players
• Supporting and implement local category strategies leveraging on regional and global strategies
• Prepare and support supplier negotiations at local level with more senior colleagues
• Prepare, conduct and support tenders (incl. e-sourcing) with more senior sourcing colleagues
• Effectively implement local contracts
• Ensure (sourcing, purchasing, company) policy adherence of local divisional colleagues
• Supplier management:
  • database maintenance
  • supplier classification
  • new sources identification
• Track and maintain accurate data in the Procurement tools:
  • suppliers, rates, contracts
  • spend, projects, master data
• Establish close contact with local business units to ensure actual and future knowledge of demand and service quality
• Contribute to the cooperation between countries and sourcing

Your profile

• English conversant
• Flexible to travel locally

Experience Level

• 3 - 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in Procurement
• Understanding of and working experience with procurement practices and procedures and commercial law, preferably category specific
• Project management experience preferred

Education Level

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience/qualification
