Your Impact

As a Partner Solutions Engineer at Cisco, you will play a critical pre-sales technical role partnering with Account Executives and Cisco partners. You will be responsible for showcasing Cisco product solutions, conducting customer presentations, running proof of concepts, and designing solutions that meet customer business requirements. This role requires deep technical expertise across Cisco technologies and the ability to influence and consult with customers and partners to drive successful business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Cisco Account Executives and partners in pre-sales activities to design and present Cisco solutions.
  • Conduct technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof of concepts to showcase Cisco technologies.
  • Consult with customers and partners to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Influence and design solutions aligned with customer requirements and Cisco’s technology portfolio.
  • Stay current on Cisco products, competitive solutions, and industry trends.
  • Assist in developing formal sales plans and proposals for assigned opportunities.
  • Participate as a specialist on virtual teams, providing consultative support in your area of expertise.
  • Support partner enablement by sharing best practices, technical knowledge, and deployment guidance.
  • Lead complex, cross-architecture or multi-vendor deployments from start to finish.
  • Develop or customize scripts and automation tools to streamline deployments.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong technical knowledge of Cisco technologies across multiple domains such as Enterprise Networking, Security, Collaboration, Data Center, and Cloud.
  • Experience in solution design, configuration, and deployment of Cisco products and services.
  • Ability to conduct technical presentations and demonstrations to diverse audiences.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and customer engagement skills.
  • Experience working with Cisco partners and understanding partner ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with Cisco partner tools and platforms such as Partner Self Service (PSS), Cisco Sales Connect, and dCloud.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of automation and programmability is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Cisco certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent technical credentials.
  • Experience in vertical markets and industry-specific solutions.
  • Understanding of business architecture and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including sales, engineering, and marketing.
